Contributing

Postcolonial Politics welcomes contributions on pressing matters of debate on neocolonialism, racism, global inequality and climate crisis.

All submissions are reviewed by the editors. Please use the in-site form to pitch an idea or propose a post.

All contributions should be written for a general audience.

Posts: agile opinion pieces on urgent matters of socio-political and cultural debate, of roughly 500-1000 words.

Essays: intended as longer more engaged reads which help explain important topic with the necessary distance and thoroughness difficult to find in journalistic pieces, of 1200-2500 words.

Reviews: we are interested in receiving reviews of books (academic or otherwise); films, exhibitions and music of roughly 500-1000 words.
